Regional Removal Services

Regional Removal Services is a privately owned sole-proprietorship which is a removal service for deceased persons and transports these deceased persons to funeral homes, to and from hospitals, from homes and scenes.

This enterprise works in coordination with the Sudbury Regional Hospital and its related personnel, Lougheed’s Funeral Home, Co-operative Funeral Home and other funeral homes, Office of the Chief Coroner of Ontario, Greater Sudbury Police Services, Ontario Provincial Police, and living and deceased citizens.

Dress Code

The death of a loved one is a hugely challenging and emotional time for friends and family. In working with the afore-mentioned businesses and organizations and families of the deceased, it is of the utmost importantance for Regional Removal Services' agents to present a professional image at all times.

The nature of the removal will dictate the appropriate dress code. At some scenes, a "bunny suit" will be required. This "bunny suit" will be provided for you when necessary by Regional Removal Services. Most removals will not require a "bunny suit" and therefore appropriate dress is necessary.
Hair
Shall be pulled back and away from the face and shall not have any unusual dye colours in the hair.
Makeup
Makeup shall be natural looking.
Jewellery
With the exception of one pair of matched pierced earrings, which may be worn by female agents, pierced jewelry is prohibited. Pierced earrings must be studs. Bracelets, large earrings and necklaces are not permitted as they can be dangerous during removals.
Clothing 
During regular business hours and while working, Regional Removal Services agents shall wear pant suits with flesh toned, black, or navy sheer hosiery or socks.  Suits for both men and women shall be black, navy blue, charcoal, or banker's grey.  Shirts and blouses shall be white. Ties for men are optional. If wearing a tie, it shall be clipped to the dress shirt for health and safety reasons.
Footwear
Shoes for both men and women shall be dark, low heeled dress shoes with a rubberized heal and substantial grips. Removals take place in all seasons and in various settings. Your safety is of the utmost importance.
NOTICE
If any of the dress code is violated, the agent will be doing so at their own risk and Regional Removal Services will not be held responsible should anything befall the agent while performing a removal. Regional Removal Services reserves the right to terminate employment of any agent who violates the dress code.
